One-room school house located in the small farming village of Desmond, ON. It is remarkably intact. Building was in use from the late 1870's until the late 1960's.
Interior still contains the slate chalkboards. The water pump is on the front stoop, and there are still separate outhouses for boys and girls behind the building.
School bell is still in place in the belfry.
