There has been a free library in Endicott since 1915. The current location was the home of George F. Johnson, given in 1950. This was replaced with the new building in 1967. There are story hours and special programs. The library is part of the four County Library System. There is a public computing Center on the second floor.
Friends of the library has book sales twice a month in the basement.
