It is on Private Property but viewable and you are able to get a picture from the road right in front of the marker. It is just to the east from the Spring house on the south side of the road.

County of spring: Barry County Location of spring: Farm Rd. 2020, 7 miles SW from Crane, MO.
Butterfield Stage Line, Operated by John J. Smith. He built a tavern and a farm here, and for extra money singed a contract to be a relay station for the stage line. Followed Flat Creek to Crouch's Station

Talked with a couple of local farmers in around the ghost town of Osa, and got a sense of where the old Drywoods Thrashers marker would be located. Talked with the home owner, he gave me permission to walk around his property and photo what I want, as long as what I was doing "did not bring a pack of fools to tramp on his ground."

Please post an original picture of the springs no GPS necessary along with your observations of the spring. What wildlife you saw if any and the condition of the springs. Water level was high, low. The area was clean, trashy ect. Any other knowledge or experiences you have had with this paticular spring that would help document it's history.
