"In 1998 a set of two stamps with face values 5 and 6 Rs respectively was issued to mark the 50th anniversary of Air India's first Bombay-London flight. The stamps were printed alternately on the same sheet. That is how one can get a conjoined pair like the one shown below.
The two stamps make a composite picture showing a Lockheed Constellation flying from the Gateway of India towards Big Ben."
