This beautiful Renaissance chateau was built by Vratislav of Pernštejn in 1568. In the 18th cent, a unique classic theatre which has been preserved up to now, was built here. In the castle brewery B. Smetana, a Czech composer, was born, that is why the Museum of Czech music was established in the chateau. The chateau was entered on the List of UNESCO in 2000.
