In Mansfield, along East Street, is the Flint Farm.
The farm is located near the intersection of East Street and Eastman Street. There is a farm stand with a sign for the farm on the north side of the road. The farm house is next to the farm stand.
The farm is a vegetable farm, growing a variety of vegetables and has 25 acres of sweet corn. In the fall, pumpkins are harvested, and in the winter they sell Christmas trees and wreaths (not grown on the farm). In addition to the vegetables, they sell ice cream (Richardson's from Middleton). Also, in the fall, they have a corn maze.
The Flint family started the farm in 1868. For five generations, it was a dairy farm, until 1986, when they sold the cow herd and went fully into vegetables.
