This one room school has been placed at the Finland Heritage Site so today’s visitors can get a glimpse into the history of this area. The school served as the local education facility from 1917 to 1928 not far from its present location, and then was moved into town where it became the town hall and then a gathering place for teens. In 1977 it housed a Scandinavian gift shop before being donated to the historical society in 2005 and moved to its present location the following year.
