Immediately north of Libby Dam, which is about 17 miles northeast of Libby, MT., is a large day use area which includes a playground.

A good sized and well equipped playground, this is a great place for the kids to blow off some steam after being forced through the totally boring tour of Libby Dam. At the playground and day use area are washrooms, volleyball court, horseshoe pits, picnic pavilions, well shaded picnic tables and more open ones, barbecues and a large parking lot. The playground itself is well shaded, being set in mature pines, and well equipped, with several pieces of swingy, slidey and climbey things.

Nearby there is also an eighteen hole disc golf course, called the Kooky Noosa Course. Good place for the adults to sojourn while the kids wear themselves out at the playground.
