Osprey Landing is a large day use area 8 miles east of Libby, MT on Highway 37. In the day use area near the boat launch ramp are a pair of signs outlining area history, this one telling us of the river and the species of the area.

On the opposite side of the sign bearing a pair of historical markers is a large map of the area with a "You Are Here" notation.
Osprey Landing is on the north side of the Kootenai River and the south side of Highway 37. As well as a day use area it could also be considered a rest area as it has washrooms, picnic pavilions, barbecues, an informational kiosk with historical markers describing both human and natural history of the area, a boat launch ramp and a large paved parking area. There are marked parking spots for 16 vehicles with trailers and 6 cars.
