Blasterz have never seen a WoW or Woodmen's Circle tombstone with a small tree footstone monument -- VERY COOL!
The footstone is carved in the shape of a short tree trunk with the initials G T incised on top of the stump above the crossed axe and mace symbol of the WoW.
The tombstone is made of a log placed horizontally on top of a stone pedestal, on two pediments, one flared with deceased's surname inscribed, and one flat for the stone to rest on. The tombstone reads as follows:
"[Woodmen's Circle medallion]
Girta
wife of
R. H. Taylor
Born May 27, 1893
Died Nov 13, 1914"
There are A LOT of Taylors here - all interconnected - but no R. H. Taylor. Several of the Taylors here have similarly-styled WoW tombstones, but no one else has the little tree stump footstone.
Was the inscription legible?: Yes
