"Námestí vévodí od roku 1720 trojboké žulové sousoší se sv. Janem Nepomuckým od Františka Bauguta. Protože byl umucen a shozen z Karlova mostu do Vltavy, nachází se jeho sochy práve u vodních toku a kašen. K sousoší byla kašna doplnena roku 1839."

The town square is dominated since 1720 by triangular granite sculpture of the St. John of Nepomuk by František Baugut. Because he was tortured and thrown from the Charles Bridge into the Vltava River, his staue is often located near waterways and fountains. The sculpture was completed to fountain in 1839.
