Kostel sv. Jirí ve Vežné je poprvé uváden již roku 1358. Roku 1384 se stal kostelem farním. Roku 1733 prošel rozsáhlou úpravou a rekonstrukcí, výsledkem které byla jeho soucasná podoba. V interiéru se nachází barokní oltár z roku 1764. Ve zdi lodi je zazdeno jedenáct zajímavých náhrobku s erby rodu Malovcu, pocházejících z let 1558 - 1630.

Church of st. George ois first mentioned as early as 1358. In 1384 it became a parish church. 1733 has undergone extensive refurbishment and modification, the result of which is its current form. In the interior there is a baroque altar of 1764. The vessel wall is immured eleven interesting tombstones with coats of arms of the Lords of Malovec, originating from the years 1558-1630.
