As if catching fish was not enough fun for the kids, now the volunteers at the Texas Freshwaters Fisheries Center have added a sizeable pitcher plant display near the new Texas Game Warden museum.

The day Blasterz were here, we saw several wasps and yellow jackets meet their demise, buzzing frantically in the pitcher's digestive enzymes. Looking into the pitchers, we saw that these plants have been doing a fantastic job reducing the annoying black fly population as well.
