Emily Gap is one of several mountain gaps in the Heavitree Range near Alice Springs. For the Arrernte people, it is a sacred place as it is part of the Caterpillar Dreaming Trail. There are several rock paintings of the ancestral caterpillar beings at the gap as well as a scenic water hole.

Please note that this is a protected area (of course including the rock paintings)!
