Uluru looks really impressive on satellite images. As it does from the ground, too!

With a circumference of about 5.8 miles, Uluru is well visible on satellite images. It consists of reddish sandstone and rises about 1,140 feet above the surrounding plains. Especially the base walk around it is very impressing.
Please be aware that Uluru is a sacred place to the Anangu people.
