The original "Queen Elizabeth 2" was built in 1967 and used to be the flagship of Cunard for over thirty years. Currently, it is being redesigned in China.
The model was built by Günther Nitz and belongs to the "International Maritime Museum Hamburg". It was installed in 2014 in the subway station "Überseequartier" (opened in 2012) as a permanent piece of decoration.
