Stavba kaple sv. Magdaleny v Eši zapocala podle plánu stavitele Mazance z Nové Cerekve v cervnu roku 1865. Stavbu financovala obec, majitel panství Kámen, Václav Enis z Atteru na ni venoval 4400 cihel. Oltární obraz namaloval páter Kamarýt z Deštné, autor výzdoby mnoha kaplí a kostelu v širokém okolí, ale i v Rakousku, Bosne a Americe. Kaple byla vysvecena 22. cervence 1866 vikárem Procházkou z Pacova.

Construction of the chapel of St. Magdalene started according to plan of builder Mazanec from Nová Cerekev in June 1865. The construction was financed by the municipality, the owner of the estate Kámen, Václav Enis of Atter donated 4400 bricks. The altarpiece was painted by Father Kamarýt of Deštné, author of decorations of many chapels and churches in a wide area, but also in Austria, Bosnia and America. The chapel was consecrated on July 22, 1866.
