Cornell Engineering Quad - Web Cameras on Waymarking.com

To do this WebCam waymark, you will need,

-your GPS
-a cell phone.
-something bright red (you're in Big Red country)
-a friend with a net-connected computer and a phone.
-willingness to have your picture posted here.

Ok. Now for the fun bit:

At the posted co-ordinates stand by the landmark.

Call your waymarking-friends and get them to access the webcam on the net (http://www.engineering.cornell.edu/about/explore/cam.cfm).
Have them navigate the webcam to find you holding up your GPS (try the 3rd preset), zoom in and take a snapshot using the little camera icon! Upload it to this page and log a Visit. Thats all there is to it!

Note - it may be wise to visit the Webcam page beforehand to make sure it's operational and to get some practice finding the correct location and operating the camera controls. Unlike static webcam sites ,  the user has full control of this one. – you may have to wait your turn to take control though!

Logs without proper pictures (GPS aloft and something red) will be deleted.

Your log needs to include a picture taken from the web camera with you in the field of vision. You may need to recruit some help from someone else on a computer while you are at the web camera.
