"Foundation Begins Fundraiser to Support Library
"The Hudson-Bridges Foundation has begun a major fundraising drive. The foundation was founded nearly 14 years ago as an instrument to provide supporting and maintenance funds for our developing library building project. Since the building's completion, this foundation has also been able to supplement the library's funding of its many programs and services for our community. To allow the Carrollton Public Library to continue all of its splendid work, it must have financial help.

"To kick off this major fundraising drive, the board members of the foundation held an exciting Murder-Mystery Dinner Theater at La Bella Casa Event Center (the former Wilcoxson mansion) on November 8th for its inaugural event. Fundraising efforts will continue throughout 2015 to reach the goal of adding more principal investments to the original endowment. " ~ Carrollton Library
