[FR] Elle est au centre d'un vaste complexe ferroviaire qui comprend un triage, un dépôt et un établissement de maintenance du matériel moteur.
En 1931, la suppression des passages à niveau de la route nationale no 184 et la construction d'un double pont entraîne l'abandon de l'ancienne gare et la mise en service du bâtiment actuel. Il prendra le nom d'Achères-Grand-Cormier lors de la mise en service de la gare d'Achères-Ville sur la ligne d'Achères à Pontoise en 1979.
Achères - Grand-Cormier est desservie par les trains de la ligne A du RER, parcourant la branche A5 se terminant à Poissy.
Elle est isolée en pleine forêt de Saint-Germain-en-Laye sur la route de Saint-Germain-en-Laye à Pontoise. Son accès piéton se fait depuis la route nationale N184.
[EN] The station is in the center of a vast rail yard which includes sorting, a depot and a maintenance establishment.
In 1931, the elimination of level crossings on the National Highway 184 and the construction of a double bridge brought with it the abandoning of the old station and the opening of the current building.
Trains of the RER line A on the A5 branch ending at Poissy stop here.
The station is isolated in the middle of the Saint Germain forest on the route from Saint-German-en-Laye to Pontoise. Pedestrian access is made from the highway N184.
