This monument is dedicated to
35th Ohio Infantry Regiment in recognition of their service during the
Battle of Chickamauga, fought September 19–20, 1863. This is one of four monuments to the 35th Ohio Infantry Regiment on the battlefield. It marks their location on Sept. 19, 1863 between 10 and 11:30 am.
