This mural features a horse back rider, which is what the Spanish explorers would have been doing hundreds of years ago. In the background, we see the Santa Ana Mountains, which divide Orange County from Riverside County. Then there is an orange tree on the left side of the mural, which is what this county is named after. Orange County, before all the land developments, was filled with orange groves. This mural helps us take a look into the past.
