Stately older Anglican church located just to the east of downtown Merrickville.
The congregation here traces its roots back to around 1793, the same as the town's founding. Many were original United Empire Loyalists who resettled in this area following the American Revolution.
The present church is the second on this site, replacing an earlier wooden church built in 1837.
