Klášterec nad Orlicí is town in the valley of river Divoká Orlice, north-east of Žamberk. First mentioned in the year 1279. The monastery and church were destroyed in the era of Hussite wars. The church was built again in the year 1452 in Gothic style. It was several rebuilt. The important is the altar-stone with heraldies of lords of Šternberk, Hvezda, Potštejn, Podebrady and Lichtenberg. Under the town becomes the dam Pastviny.
The Church of the Holy Trinity in Klášterec nad Orlicí Shrouded in mystery, the Church of the Holy Trinity is the last remaining part of a former Cyriac Order monastery, whose monks were brutally murdered by the Hussites in 1421.
