This weathervane is located inside the Nixon Library, specifically inside the First Lady Rose Garden. It is about 8 feet off the ground, which is quite short for a weathervane. It is fixed, but can spin 360 degrees. The dove signifies peace and harmony for both the 37th first lady and the 37th president of the United States whether it be rest in peace or the peace Nixon brought to the world with the end of the Vietnam War and the SALT agreement with China and the Soviet Union. The weather vane is in the north side of the garden.
