The building was constructed in the Federation Academic Classical style, The building was originally constructed for the Commercial
Bank of Australia in 1890.By 1897 the Western Australian bank had taken over the premises from the Commercial Bank. The ground floor of the building had two entrance doors with a pair of arched windows
was set between them.Over the years the building has been used for a number of purposes , lately as legal offices.
