Place de la Paix situé dans un parc espace vert et piste cyclable pour vélo et marche. Tout le parc vert est dédié a la défense des droits humains.
Ici un arbre est dédié avec le panneau d'information a la Place de la Paix. Le texte commence comme ceci: "Quand les hommes vivront d'Amour se seras la Paix sur la Terre". Raymond Levesque.
Inaugurée le 6 Septembre 2008 La Place de la Paix commémore la Marche des Femmes de l'An 2000 et rend hommage au travail d'Armistice International pour la défense et le respect des droits humains.
La sculpture représentant une chandelle nous rappelles de "garder la flamme vivante pour contrer la violence et la pauvreté et faire la lumière sur ceux qui bafouent les droits de la personne.
Ce lieu honore aussi la mémoire des victimes d'actes criminels d'intolérance et de barbarie. C'est un endroit propice au recueillement et à la réflexion sur la Paix Universelle.
La place de la paix a été réalisé par la ville de St-Jérôme Logo Lion en collaboration avec Armistice International logo chandelle pris dans un fil barbelé et divers organismes du milieu.
Peace Square located in a green space park and bike path for cycling and walking. All the green park is dedicated to the defense of human rights.
Here a tree is dedicated to the information board at the Place of Peace. It begins like this: "When men live Love is'll Peace on Earth." Raymond Levesque.
Inaugurated September 6, 2008 Place of Peace commemorates the March of Women 2000 New Year's honors and Armistice International work in the defense and respect of human rights.
The sculpture of a candle we remember to "keep the flame alive against violence and poverty and to shed light on those who violate human rights.
This place also honors the memory of victims of criminal acts of intolerance and barbarism. This is a good place for contemplation and reflection on the Universal Peace.
Place of peace was made by the city of St-Jérôme Logo Lion in collaboration with International Armistice logo candle caught in a barbed wire and various community organizations.
