A marble plaque attached to the Church's side reads:

"TO COMMEMORATE THE
COMPLETION OF THE THIRD CENTURY OF THIS CHURCH
1686 - 1986

AND THE FIFTH ANNIVERSARY OF ITS REBUILDING
AND REDEDICATION
1991 -1996

THIS STONE WAS ERECTED BY THE FRIENDS OF
ST. ANNE'S CHURCH SOHO ON 26th JULY 1996
