Woodham Mortimer Hall is a C15th, Grade II listed house. The original timber framed and plastered C15th rear range has been greatly altered and the red brick and stucco front range was added in the C17th. It has red plain tiled roofs which sport left and right external paired twin flue stacks and a central triple stack, they are all square, on the diagonal, and have moulded capping.

Of two storeys and with attics, there are four 4 Dutch gables to the front at attic level with stone coping, each with an eight light sash window with transoms and gauged brick arches with keystones. The parapet has a moulded band above the windows and stone coping. The four window range has small paned vertically sliding sashes throughout. The left two storey range is angled, the next is plain, the third rectangular range projects forwards, possibly the original porch, and the right-hand range is plain. The left-hand upper bay and the ground floor has rusticated stucco. Other window surrounds and keystones are stucco. There are part glazed double doors and a flat canopy on brackets at the base of the second range. The off centre left return has two original moulded brick windows with central brick mullions and there are restored mullions to the rear right range.
