The sculpture garden is located at the corner of Dr Martin Luther King Jr. Way, and the Tamiami Trail, Sarasota.
This square tunnel sculpture is over 8 feet tall, it looks like a section of square culvert pipe, about 10 feet long. The wind chime type sculpture, features hundreds of 3" square plates, suspended on steel wire, & free to move. The plates clatter against each other in the breeze. The sculpture is in fairly poor condition, with many of the steel plates having fallen off. There is no plaque evident, or Information board. The garden is unfenced alongside a public footpath, & parking is free.
The abstract Sculptures in the small park, probably belonging to, or are the works from students of the Ringling College of Art, which is next to, & also behind the sculpture garden.
A few of the sculptures have plaques giving their names & artist, but most of the artworks are without plaques, & in need of some TLC.
