Estación Villa del Parque, recintructed and modernised completely in 2004, was opened for public use on April 19, 1907 as a part of Buenos Aires and Pacific Railway. Estación Villa del Parque currently serves on the Linea San Martín, one of the 7 suburban lines of metropolitan Buenos Aires Railways (Ferrocarriles metropolitanos de Buenos Aires). Station, located in the centre of Villa del Parque district, is equipped by four platforms, several shops and a pedestrian bridge crissing the tracks.
