Next to Mr. Mayhugh is his wife, Leona B. Mayhugh, whose grave is marked with a familiar logpile monument, but it lacks any kind of Woodmen of the World identification. Mr. Mayhugh's monument is a tree stump, with the following inscription:

C.E. Mayhugh
Born Jan. 11, 1862
Died Sept. 19, 1917

He was faithful to every duty
Christ loved him and took him home.
Was the inscription legible?: Yes
