This trailhead resides at the lower part of Cedar Creek and was once the Old Cedar Highway before the newer highway replaced this section.

The Cedar Creek Lower Trailhead is an approximately three mile trail that follows the Old Cedar Highway and travels west to the Cedar Creek Upper Trailhead, located near the Cedar Pass Ski Park. The elevation climb from the lower trailhead to the upper trailhead is 700 feet. Be sure to pick up a free brochure for the interpretive sites at the lower trailhead and at the upper trailhead interactive boards. Parking is located next to the trailhead.

You can hike, horseback ride, mountain bike, ski and horseshoe in the wintertime.
