In High Spire, near an exit to I-283, is the High Spire Cemetery.
The cemetery is located on the west side of Eisenhower Blvd, near a hotel and across the street from the exit ramp. Richardson Road goes off Eisenhower Blvd and goes between the hotel and the cemetery.
The cemetery is a flat, open property with many graves, arranged in rows. Roughly, older graves are toward the east end and newer ones are toward the west, with a large portion unused. Findagrave has 3291 internments listed and states that about 32% of the graves are documented. This would mean that there are about 1000 people buried here. There were dates of death that were in the mid 1800s to the present year.
Highspire, within Dauphin County, is a suburb of Harrisburg and is along the Susquehanna River.
