This 102 year old building is on the south side of Highway 200 as it passes through Dixon.

There's not much left of the business section in the little hamlet of Dixon. There's this building, a bar down the street and an old garage/machine shop across the street to the east. To the west is the small post office and a little fire hall, and some houses.
This building, with its year of construction, 1912, embossed on the front elevation in what appears to be masonry, is narrow and really long, reaching to the alley behind. It appears that the most recent business in the building was a restaurant/diner which has closed fairly recently. There are still curtains in the windows and a small neon "OPEN" sign, but no signs of life within.
