The "D" for Dixon is on a hill to the north of Dixon, across the Clark Fork River.

It's about 2 kilometers directly north of the western edge of Dixon. While driving through town and for some distance west of town on Highway 200 one may see the "D". The "D" doesn't have to be very big for everyone in town to have a view of it, as Dixon is a pretty small town. Its population is just a shade over 200.
