The city hall is located on one side of the Ventura freeway. It's an odd shaped building with a lot of curves. The city hall is located next to a large park.
The city is located in southwest Ventura county. It has a population of 128,374 and was incorporated in 1964. It's located about 12 miles from the boundry of the city of Los Angeles. The city is named for the many oak trees that grew in the area.
