The Neptune fountain, beautiful pink sandstone fountain topped by a statue of Neptune.
Neptune in Latin Neptunus, was originally, in Roman mythology, the god of Whitewater and the Springs. After Lectisternium 399 BC. AD, it is assimilated to the god Oceans of Greek mythology, Poseidon.
What better than to have chosen the name Neptune Fountain. His statue is eaten away but is perched on his pedestal for over 200 years.
