The Chapel of the Sacred Heart is the summer chapel of Our Lady of the Mountains Church. The Chapel is located a half mile north of Signal Mountain Lodge and a half mile south of the Jackson Lake dam. Built in the 1930s, the chapel has been remodeled most recently in 2003 in honor of the American spirit following the tragedy of 9/11. The Chapel is a beautiful rustic log structure in the pine trees. The Chapel seats about 140 people and regular weekend masses are celebrated during the summer months of June through September.
