The Austin U.S. Courthouse is an excellent example of Depression-era Moderne architecture. It is a four-story, rectangular plan, steel and concrete building with a basement and service penthouse.

The Austin U.S. Courthouse was built in 1935, and is a perfect example of Art Deco Design. A detailed

There are two district courtrooms and two magistrate courtrooms in the building as well as outdoor parking. Tenants include the U.S. District Courts and Clerk's office and the U.S. Marshals Service.
