The Premier Hotel, built in 1891, was the third hotel built in Albany. Only two of these remain. The Albany Roads Board had their first meeting in the dining room of the Premier Hotel in 1896. The hotel is a two storey brick building with a corrugated iron roof and a prominent corner main door to the bar
