The sparrow has been created in 2001 together with about 270 other sparrows as part of the so called 'Spatzeninvasion' (sparrow invasion). This was a donation activity to collect money for the famous Minster of Ulm. Different artists created different sculptures of the same sparrow. The sparrow is the heroldic animal of Ulm.

There's no plaque with details. So the artist and the title are unknown.
It consists of fiberclass.
