This is essentially a family/children oriented park. It has many large, mature trees, open grassed areas, lots of playground equipment, a kiddies' wading pond, an enclosed off leash dog park and washrooms with a picnic pavilion attached. There are several benches and picnic scattered about, and barbecues as well, for hot dogs after the kids have worked up an appetite.
