From Wikipedia: "Endwell is the home of a popular local park, Highland Park, well known in the area for its annual Fourth of July fireworks display as well as its classic carousel. " From ( visit link) "Highland park is in the birthplace of IBM, Endicott, NY. It was originally a farm run by IBM, and in the 50ies IBM donated the land and funds to build the park. The monument recognizes IBMers who gave their lives in WWII, and was originally on the grounds of the IBM country club"
