Mr. Mann was originally one of five burials in the old Mann Cemetery, located in Cooke County on a small knoll between Spring Creek and Pecan Creek, just north of the Cooke/Denton county line. He was the son of James and Josephine Mann, who are also buried here, and who owned the farm where the old cemetery was located. During the construction of nearby Lake Ray Roberts, these graves were moved to Bloomfield-Jones. The inscription is:
