The formation of the Denmark Masonic Lodge took place in 1946 when its first home was an old sawmill school building erected in c1896 (this has since been demolished).
In 1953 a ‘working bee’ of mostly skilled workers constructed the Lodge Hall which is built from brown bricks and a corrugated iron roof.. Material from an old army hut was also used in the construction of the new Lodge
Meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday of the month with a recess in July
