Ambleside Old Boys Great War memorial is in the wall on Vicarage Road, between Old Vicarage Guest House and old junior school in Ambleside. Often obscured by parked cars. Multitudes of people walk past this place. Few notice this slate memorial.

Lovely piece of local Westmorland green slate, with simple inscription. Approximately 50 x 100 cm
Ambleside old Junior School is now a pre-school age nursery, called Kiddiwinks.
