WWII Roll of Honor War Memorial - Tulelake, CA - World War II Memorials / Monuments on Waymarking.com

Located within Veterans Park on Main St are a number of war memorials dedicated to servicemen and women from various wars.

This particular memorial is dedicated to to the memory of Tulelake natives who lost their lives in WWII. The memorial reads:

1941      1945 Roll of Honor IN MEMORY OF THE FOLLOWING FROM TULELAKE WHO WERE KILLED IN ACTION IN WORLD WAR II ROBERT NELSON ROBERT W. FENSLER CARTER D. WILKINSON BILL DEAN HULBERT, JR. WILLIAM J. DIETER --- DEDICATED BY THE VETERANS OF FOREIGN WARS 8700 AMERICAN LEGION 164

My guess is that this older WWII memorial was located elsewhere in town and the plaque removed from its monumentation and relocated here within this park to look like the other, newer, memorial plaques here. This park is a nice tribute to all those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for the freedoms that we Americans enjoy today.
