Stojí na jižním okraji vesnice. Vznikl již ve 13. století a patrí k nejstarším gotickým kostelum v okrese Breclav. Byl podstatne upravován v letech 1575 a 1872, kdy dostal nynejší podobu.
Samotná stavba je jednolodní s knežištem ukonceným peti stranami osmiúhelníka, s obdélníkovou sakristií pri severní strane knežište a ctverhranou veží s jehlanem v západním prucelí (z r. 1727). Presbytár v polygonále má dve malovaná okna (mozaikové vitráže) z roku 1889. Ostatních deset vitrážových oken s portréty svatých je z roku 1933 - 1934. Nekterá z techto oken dali zhotovit místní starousedlíci. Mezi presbytárem a lodí je vložena prícní lod s bocními oltári P. Marie Lurdské a sv. Josefa. Na interiéru se podílel malír Antonín František Maulbertsch a sochar Oldrich Schwiegl. Kolem kostela byl puvodne hrbitov, který byl preložen na konec obce. V roce 1672 mel kostel tri oltáre a dva hrbitovy. Farní budova pochází z konce 18. století. V roce 1992-1993 byla provedena oprava strechy, v roce 1994-1995 byla dokoncena oprava vitráží, v roce 1999 bylo zapocato s opravou strechy a fasády kostela. Bylo provedeno rovnež odvodnení kostela a po odstranení vlhkých omítek a zhotovení nových sanacních omítek byla provedena výmalba uvnitr kostela (zatím bez puvodních medailonu svatých - ty jsou nafoceny a obkresleny a po získání dalších financních prostredku budou domalovány).

It is located on the southern edge of the village. It was founded in the 13th century and one of the oldest Gothic churches in the district of Breclav. Was substantially modified in 1575 and 1872, when he got present form.
The building itself is a single nave with chancel completed five sides of an octagon, with a rectangular sacristy on the north side of the chancel and tower foursquare, with the pyramid on the west side (from r. 1727). In polygonal presbytery has two painted windows (stained glass mosaic) of 1889. The other ten stained glass windows with portraits of saints is from 1933 - 1934. Some of these windows put make local denizens. Between the presbytery and the ship is loaded with side transept altar of Our Lady of Lourdes and St. Joseph. On the interior by painter František Antonín Maulbertsch and sculptor Ulrich Schwiegl. Around the church was originally a cemetery, which was moved to the end of the village. In 1672 the church had three altars and two cemeteries. The parish building dates from the late 18th century. In the year 1992-1993 was repaired roofs, in 1994-1995 was completed repair of stained glass, in 1999 began to repair the roof and facade of the church. It was also carried out of the church and drainage after removal of wet plaster and construction of new sanitation plaster was made paintings inside the church (no original medallions of saints - those are taken with a tracing and after obtaining additional funds will be painted on).
