A sign next to the 1868 Walker Organ describes its provenance and details about its construction. The sign is inscribed:

This 1868 Walker Organ
was taken in care by Mr. Reg Rawlings after many
years of use by the St. John Anglican Church, the
Methodist Church and the Salvation Army at Shelly
Bay. The Instrument, which has a tracker action and
comprises four stops, three ranks and 150 pipes, has
been placed here in the Bermuda Cathedral on
permanent loan as a monument to its Anglican
heritage.
